Overview

The parish of Buenavista (1,214 inhabitants in 2012), part of Chaguarpamba canton (Loja province), was established on 21 September 1944.

The Flag

The flag of Buenavista, designed by Líder Balcázar Cueva, is vertically divided green-white-green with the parish coat of arms in the middle. The coat of arms was designed by Naín Bladimir Vivanco Vivanco and Servio Polivio Espinoza Tenorio.
