Overview

The parish of Sucre, located in Patate canton (Tungurahua province), was established on 26 March 1886.

The Flag

The flag of Sucre is described as "yellow-red-blue", most probably arranged horizontally. Yellow represents the soil, red represents blood shed by the heroes for liberty, and blue represents the waterfalls and rivers.
