Adopted 7 Feb. 1997. Ratio: 1:1. Kose is a rural municipality (vald) in Harjumaa County (maakond).

Blue connects the municipalities of Kose parish. Silver refers to mentality, to coat of arms of Harjumaa, to archeological findings. Waves refer to the name of municipality (Estonian kosk means waterfall). Rose-window symbolizes church of Kose.
