About the flag
On a blue field a yellow ring and within it the yellow Arabic letters S and C. As armorial emblem a scarab [the beetle used as symbol in ancient Egypt] on whose back are these elements represented.
Jaume Ollé & Santiago Dotor, 28 September 1999
Arabic is written the other way around so the letters are_Ka_ (C) and Sin (S). Those are written in as initials and therefore are not connected as it would be in regular writing of CS. I guess they were hand written on the image because of missing Arabic fonts, since it is expected to be more calligraphic written. The two little stripes above the right letter should be two dots.
Dov Gutterman, 25 September 1999
Loughran (1995) shows this flag with white circle and letters.
