Introduction
Ibi is a municipality in the comarca of Alcoià in the Valencian Community, Spain (62,52 km² and 24.000 hab, 2009). The town, which is located 37 km from the city of Alicante, is surrounded by mountains and gorges. The economy of Ibi is chiefly based on the toy industry, the most important of this kind in Spain. As a result, many other related industries have also emerged in the last years: plastic, metal, machinery and so on. There are some factories of construction materials, ice creams and tiger nut milk, too. Some of the most important monuments in Ibi are the Catholic Church of the Transfiguration and the monument to the Three Wise Men, possibly the only one in the world.

Description
With these colors are recognizing the flag of Ibi, according to the order issued by the Ministry of Justice on 28 January 2003. Following the opinion of the Technical Board of Heraldry and in accordance with the rules governing regional symbols, treatments and honors from local authorities of the Valencian Community, the flag adopted by the City of Ibi be organized as follows: "Flag of proportions 2 3. Strapped to pole. At the horn, gold or yellow, one red tower open and saber Mazon. The wing, silver or pearl gray, the other tower of the same color, also open and saber-Mazon. Between fields, focused, a square standing on one end with the royal arms of Aragon."

DOGV 29/05/1987, pp. 2624-2625, approved the municipal coat of arms of Ibi (Alicante), whose organization is as follows: Coat of Spanish form. Party and cut, first and second quarters of silver, a tower gules ajurada silver third quarter, on a gold, a dog rampant sable. In the center of the head, in diamond escutcheon gules with four poles in a field of gold. To the right and left of the tip, outside the shield two L case, gold.Under the shield and outside, tape or hem of silver, with the legend Ibi Regii Patrimonii in gules. Ringing of the royal crown of Spain, closed with eight crowns from which five are visible.
The two castles painted on the coat of arms of the town were built during the Arab domination, the "Vell" in the Barranco de los Molinos and the hill of Santa Lucia on "Vermell." In the course of the War of Succession, the towns of the Hole of Castalla, indicated their fidelity to King Felipe V, which was worth to Ibi the titles to him of Nobleman and Loyal Faithful.
