Description
Spanish triband with black letters EA replacing the coat-of-arms and with the Air Force emblem (silver crowned wings) in the top red stripe above the letters. Source: Album des Pavillons 2000 [pay00].

The letters in the Air Force Ensign should have the following dimensions (according to the 1977 Decree):
- height: 1/4th hoist
- width: 1/6th hoist
- space between letters: 1/18th hoist The air force emblem should have a height of 2/9ths of the hoist and a width of 2/3rds of the hoist.
