The SDIS 17 (Service départemental d'Incendie et de secours) is the service responsible for operations of the civilian fire services in the Charente-Maritime department

Flag of SDIS 17
In front of the headquarters of the fire service in the department of Charente-Maritime, one could see in 2019 a white flag with logo of the SDIS (photo).
The logo includes the logo of the department and a firefighter’s helmet, with the text : "sapeurs-pompiers" (font of the former logo) "de la Charente-Maritime" (font of the current logo).
