Presentation of the city

The municipality of Cergy (65,911 inhabitants in 2019; 1,120 ha) is located 30 km north-west of Paris. Cergy is the main component of the Communauté d'agglomération de Cergy-Pontoise, which succeeded in 2004 the ville nouvelle de Cergy-Pontoise that had been established on 11 August 1972.
