All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club

Watching the Wimbledon men's final on TV just now, they showed a shot of what was probably the flag of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, the hosts of the tournament: five equal horizontal stripes of purple-green-purple-green-purple. I don't think this has been reported before.

In "Lawn Tennis and Badminton", dated 26 December 1936:

The Lawn Tennis Association's Flag.
The new LTA flag, based on the arms of the Lawn Tennis Association. The Rose, Thistle and Daffodil - the floral emblems of England, Scotland and Wales are imposed on a blue field, or in heraldic language "a bordure checky argent and sable," with a checquered edging of black and white.
