The flag is displayed on a video athttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlmyilBCDAU. It is dark blue with a red cog (ship) and red lion rampant on a white square.

It is a blue horizontal flag with theemblem of Aldeburgh Town Council. The description of the Arms are as follows: "ARMS: Azure on Water in base an Ancient Ship of three masts in full sail a Ladder affixed to the side amidships proper the mainsail charged with a Lion rampant the fore and aft sails and pennons each charged with a Cross Gules." It was granted on October 20,1561 as a seal (untinctured); Certified (with tinctures) as Arms by the King of Arms 5th February 1951.
