The Dumpy Book of Ships and the Sea (1957)shows the burgee blue with a white shield containing the red hand of Ulster, surmounted by a crown.

The following Club page shows the burgee although surely the blue is too light; the shield�s upper edge is curved as mentioned & illustrated by Clay:http://www.ruyc.co.uk/ruyc/Club_House.html. In any case for the moment here is an image. A better image is provided by Graham (about 2/3 down page):
