Description of the flag
The Forest (Guernsiais: La Fouart, French La Fort) is a parish in Guernsey. It is the highest parish on the island, with altitudes of up to about 100 m. The flag is white and covered with a dark green shield with the representation of the symbol of a triangle.
The triangle obviously represents the Holy Trinity. God (Deus) in the centre is (est) father (Pater), Son (Filius) and Holy Ghost (Spiritus) whereas none of the members of the Trinity are of themselves (non est) God.
