Presentation of Rogoznica

Rogoznica is located 30 km south of Šibenik in an excellent natural harbor. It has 2,400 inhabtants, 1,100 in the town of the same name. A French fortress was built there in 19th century.

Symbols of Rogoznica

Decision Odluka o pokretanju postupka za utvrdivanje grba i zastava Općine Rogoznica, adopted on 15 June 1999 by the Municipality Assembly and published on 23 July 1999 in the County official gazette Službeni vjesnik Šibensko-kninske županije, No. 7, set up a five-member commission to prepare and conduct a contest and to present the best design to the Assembly.

The flag is blue with a yellow bordered coat of arms in the middle.

The coat of arms of the municipality is a golden dragon wrapped around a silver lighthouse on a rock in blue.
The octagonal tower of the Hrid Mulo lighthouse is shown, which is located on the cliff of the same name in the open sea about 2 nautical miles southwest of Rogoznica, and was built in 1873, and is locally called Biofanat. Dragon refers to a small salt lake on the Gradina peninsula called Zmajevo oko (Dragon's eye).

Ceremonial flag

The ceremonial blue flag is a gonfalon with three triangular tails, of which the middle one is longer, with a coat of arms in the middle, the name of the municipality in two arches outside and crossed branches of olive and vine below.
