Presentation of Imotski
Imotski is located about 60 km almost due east of Split, on the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. It has about 12,000 inhabitants, some 4,000 of them in the town itself.

The coat of arms is "Azure a tower argent on mounts gules and in chief a mullet or and in base a crescent or".
Laszowski [lsv39] says that the coat of arms was granted in 1890 by the Minister of the Interior (I guess that was the usual practice back then). Beforehand, Imotski used a coat of arms showing St. Francis of Assisi.
Željko Heimer, 15 July 2006
The coat of arms of Imotski shows a silver tower on red hills in a blue field, a six-pointed golden star in the header, a silver crescent in the bottom.
