Presentation of Bogdanovci
The municipality of Bogdanovci (2,366 inhabitants in 2001, 803 in the village of Bogdanovci) is located due south-west of Vukovar. Besides little over the half of Croatians, the municipality has large minorities of Ruthenians (some 23%, mostly in the village of Petrovci), Serbs (ca. 10%), and Ukrainians (ca. 7%).

Symbols of Bogdanovci
The Municipality Assembly decided in August 2013 to run a public competition for the design of the symbols (call for submission). The deadline for submissions was 31 November 2013. The competition was restricted to legal and physic persons established in the Municipality.

The flag is light blue with a coat of arms in the middle and a golden border.
