The municipality of Sveti Filip i Jakov (4,606 inhabitants in 2011, 1,667 in the village of Sveti Filip i Jakov) is a well-known summer resort located some 20 km south of Zadar, just north of Biograd na moru.

Flag of Sveti Filip i Jakov
The symbols of Sveti Filip i Jakov are described in the Municipality Statutes Statut Općine Sveti Filip i Jakov, adopted on 12 November 2001 by the Municipality Assembly and published on 24 December 2001 in Službeni glasnik Općine Sukošan, No. 11. The symbols must have been adopted by an earlier Decision not published in any official gazette.
The symbols were designed by the Heraldic Art d.o.o. company, from Rijeka.
The flag (photo) is described in Article 12 of the Municipality Statutes as follows:
The flag of the municipality is of blue color.
The ceremonial flag is of a single color, blue, in the center the coat of arms of the municipality.

The coat of arms is described in Article 11 of the Municipality Statutes as follows:
The coat of arms of the municipality is the historical coat of arms of the Municipality of Sveti Filip i Jakov. The coat of arms is in a shield, on a blue field, in the center a bishop's crozier and two yellow lines.
The place is named for its patrons saints, Sts. Philip and James. The crozier stands for their pastoral work, while the double bar symbolically stands for the two saints.

The ceremonial flag (photo, photo, [photos](from http://www.b-portal.hr/2016/08/17/dan-opcine-sv-filip-jakov-vodoopskrba-zaledu-odvodnja-priobalju-istaknuti-najvazniji-projekti-danijeli-dekovic-zlatni-grb/)) is a light blue gonfalon with three rectangularly ending tails with a golden fringe. The coat of arms bordered yellow is in the centre, the name of the municipality inscribed in two arches above and in the tails ornaments of olive branches.
