Baraundha - Indian Princely State (original) (raw)

Baraundha State was founded in 1169 by Shreeman Maharajadhiraj Raj Rajeshwar Budhraj Shah, also a known as Navrang Rai of Baraundha state who belongs to Raghavanshi clan. In 1871 Baraundha state was allowed with hereditary salute of 11 guns. After Independence of India, on 1st January 1950 the state was merged in the Indian Union.
