Overview
Flag of the City of Naples - Present day. In 1442 Naples was united with Sicily by King Alfonso of Aragon and made the capital of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies. The simple arms are in the colors of Aragon which were also the colors of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies.

Supporters of S.S.C. Napoli (Società Sportiva Calcio Napoli), Italian football club from Naples use tricolore switched to club colours. They use tricolour vertical flag dark blue-white-light blue. Diego Maradona, football legend played for this club in eighties.
