Muggia (Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy) (original) (raw)
On http://www.comuni-italiani.it/032/003/stemma.html we learn:
Or a triple-towered castle gules opened, masoned, and each tower twice littened sable. The gonfalone is made of blue cloth bearing the arms surrounded by branches of oak and laurel.
I should add that the shield is crowned by a silver civic crown of nine merlons, that the branches are tied together with a ribbon in the national colours and that the gonfalones edges are embellished silver (thanks do Dovs link we know that the banner ends in three tongues).
The name COMMUNE DI MUGGIA appears in silver, bowed, above the shield. Finally, the gonfalone has a tricolour cravat at the top. Photo detail, much reduced, attached as < it-tr-mu.jpg > .
