The red and black serrated lines flag was used April 18, 1885 - 1945 for the second regular battalion.
A similar flag with lower serrated red and black lines was used December 2, 1874 and March 9, 1885.

The third regular battalion flag used April 18, 1885 until 1945 was red-black-red three serrated lines put joined (with no white lines inside).
