The city emblem was adopted on Mar 22nd 2005 by Notice No 1 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a blue and a red city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized D of Daisen in a form of a flying big bird. The red circle symbolizes a vigor and a development of the hopeful and dreamful city.

I have located a specification sheet for the Daisen City flag at City Emblem Design Book. On page 12 of the PDF, it shows the emblem is placed in the center on a 7x10 ratio flag. The size of the emblem is 980x1400 MM. The colors of the emblem are DIC 182 for blue an DIC156 for red (page 4). Attached is the drawing of the city flag.
