The flag of the city of Yurihonjo is purple with mark.

The city emblem and the flag were adopted on Mar 22nd 2005 by Notice No 1. The blue flag has a white city emblem in the center. The city emblem is stylized kanji 由利 Yuri of Yurihonjo in a form of a lily. it represents a swinging and a creative city where the people lives together with the nature.
The flag proportion is 2:3. The height of the emblem is 113/140 the height of the flag.

Chokai Town / 鳥海町
