The town emblem was adopted on Sep 1st 1972 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a blue town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana ひ Hi of Hirono. The circle symbolizes a reconciliation and a solidarity, the wings do a development and a soar of the industrial culture.
