The Flag
The flag of the village of Hirata is orange with mark. I found two variants of mark position.

The village emblem and the flag were adopted on Jun 22nd 1984 by Ordinance No 16. The orange flag has a white village emblem towards hoist. The village emblem is a stylized hiragana ひ Hi of Hirata. The circle stands for a solidarity and a cooperation of the villagers. The flag proportion is 2: 3. The length of the emblem is 30/75 of the length of the flag. The official flag must have the emblem towards hoist not in the center.
