The town emblem was adopted in Oct 1962 but there is no flag law. The purple flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is stylized katakana ナヤイヅ Yanaizu.

Yanaizu Town General Affairs Section say they use only purple flag with a white emblem. The flag in the photo might look blueish due to the sun light condition.
