The flag of the city of Sakuragawa is white with mark.

The city emblem was adopted on Oct 1st 2005 by Notice No 1 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a pink, a blue and a light blue three color city emblem in the center. Three petals of cherry flower symbolize an equal merger of former two towns and a village and a cooperation, a development of the city, the center blue color does Mt. Tsukuba, the light blue color does Sakura River. The cherry, the mountain and the river are city�s symbols. It represents an image of the refreshed citizen who is enveloped with rich natural circumstances and flying into the bright future.

Iwase Town / 岩瀬町

The former flag of the town of Iwase was maroon with mark. The town is now, from 2005, part of the city of Sakuragawa.
