The town emblem was adopted on Mar 25th 2005 by Notice No 132 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana しろ Shiro of Shirosato. The center circle symbolizes a homeland surrounded by a rural breezeness, rich water and a reconciliation of the town people.
