The Flag

The flag of the town of Miyoshi is white with mark.

The town emblem was adopted on Jan 6th 1972 by Notice No 1 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized katakana ミヨシ Miyoshi in a form of a flying bird. The circle symbolizes a reconciliation and a solidarity. It represents a surge of the town and a development of the industry.
