The Flag

White coat of arms on dark violet field. Stylized Kanji character SHINA 品 symbolizes Shinagawa's progress ever onwards and diligence made by people's friendship, faith and cooperation. Coat of arms adopted October 1952. Flag unlegislated.

For Shinagawa ward I found two variants : blue and purple

Shinagawa ward says they use dark bluish purple but the purple color shown in below is within allowance as there is no flag law to appoint a specific purple color shade.
