The city emblem was adopted on Oct 28th 2004 by Notice No 164 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a blue, a red and a green three color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized katakana ア A of Agano. The blue color stands for an outgoing information on the people and the products from Oasis city and a collaboration and a coexistence of the citizen, the red color for a bright Sun of hope, the green color for a creativity to develop an ideal tomorrow and outspread dreams and the future.
