The town emblem was adopted on Nov 3rd 1954 but there is no flag law. The maroon flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is three stylized katakana ア A of Asahi. The circle symbolizes a rising sun, a concord and a cooperation of the former one town and seven villages.
