The town emblem was adopted on Oct 9th 2005 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green, a red and a blue three color town emblem in the center. The green color stands for the town�s nature and the earth, the blue color for Chikuma River stream and the red color for the people�s dreams and a surge in an image of flower. It represents a wish for a building plan of the town which lives together with an abundant nature and make a leap to the future.
