The town emblem was adopted on Nov 17th 2005 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green, a white and an orange three color town emblem in the center. The overlapping two chevrons symbolize Mt. Iizuna and Mt. Madarao in a form of a lucky folding-fan. It represents an image of two districts getting together to build a rich town. The apple flower symbolizes the town surrouneded by mountains.
