The village emblem was adopted on Apr 1st 1980 but there is no flag law. The green flag has a white village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a stylized katakana ネバ Neba surrounded by mountains. The circle symbolizes the villagers' solidarity. It represents the development of the village with a towering tree taking root in the earth.
