The village emblem was adopted on Apr 1st 1974 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has a white village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a stylized kanji 大 O of Oshika. The circle symbolizes a spirit of solidarity and a concord connected with the villagers' friendship. The diagonal line extending from a left side of the circle stands for an image of the village making a leap for the future with hopes.
