The village emblem was adopted on Apr 1st 1976 but there is no flag law. The orange color flag has a white village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a stylized kanji 王 O of Otaki in a form of a flying bird in a green mountain. The bird stands for the villagers concord and the two triangles in a body for a limitless progress and a surge of the village.
