The flag of the village of Sakae is green with mark.

The village emblem was adopted on Sep 30th 1976 but there is no flag law. The green flag has a purple and a white two color village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a stylized hiragana さ Sa of Sakae in a form of the village flower Paulownia in purple color. It represents a wish for a hope and a surge.
