The village emblem was adopted Jan 27th 1971 but there is no flag law. The maroon flag has a white village emblem in the center. The village emblem is a stylized kanji 喬木 Takagi in a form of Yatanokagami a sacred mirror which symbolizes an integration of the eight districts.
