The city emblem was adopted on Oct 25th 2004 by Notice No 1 but there is no flag law. The maroon flag has a white city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized katakana エナ Ena in a form of flying bird and the Sun. The six feathers of the wings symbolizes the former six towns and villages merged. The center triangle represents that the citizen are united to improve the surge and the development of the city.
