The city emblem was adopted on Feb 1st 1955 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a red city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized kanji 土 To of Toki. It represents a smoke of a biscuit kiln of Mino ware and a vapor from a hot spring.
