The town emblem was adopted on Oct 5th 1955 but there is no flag law. The maroon flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized katakana ワ Wa and kanji 内 Uchi. The circle symbolizes a reconciliation, a solidarity, a hopeful peace and the lower edge does an improvement and the upper flying bird does the towns surge and a development.
