City Flag
The flag of the city of Hamamatsu is white with mark.

The city emblem was adopted on Jun 28th 2005 by Notice No 322 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green, blue two color city emblem in the center. The green stands for abundant forest in northern region and the blue for Hamanako Lake and Enshu Ocean. The white crimp in the bottom part is a white wave of Enshu Ocean which represents the city�s surge and development.
