The town emblem was adopted on Jan 25th 1956 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has a white town emblem in the center. The emblem is a stylized kanji 長 Naga of Nagaizumi in a form of Japanese classic hand drum Tsuzumi. It represents town�s developing image.
