he city emblem was adopted on Oct 1st 1955 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a red city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized katakana カ Ka and ハ Wa. It represents an unlimited development and an affinity of the city located at a confluence of Yamato River and Ishikawa River.
