The town emblem was adopted on Sep 21 st 1968 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a maroon town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana よ Yo of Yoshino. The circle symbolizes an unlimited future development and the lower part does a sublime ideal, a freedom and a pursuit of a happiness based upon a concord.
