The city emblem was adopted on Oct 1st 2004 by Notice No 1 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green, a blue, an orange three color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized kanji 安 Yasu of Yasugi. The green color stands for a nature, a development and a harmony, the blue color for a clear water, a blue sky, the orange color for a sunlight , the people and a vigor. It represents an image of the citizen who lives vividly together with nature and is dancing.
