The town emblem and the flag were adopted on Oct 1st 2005 by Notice No 1. The white flag has a yellow, a green, a blue three color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized kanji 吉 Yoshi of Yoshika. The circle symbolizes a reconciliation of the town people. The yellow color stands for the sun, the green color for a forest, the blue color for water. It represents an image of the town which is blessed with abundant natural circumstances. The flag proportion is 2: 3. The length of the emblem is 2/3 of the length of the flag.
