The town emblem was adopted on Mar 1st 2006 by Notice No 67 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a mauve color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized katakana ワケ Wake. The town emblem depicts the best wisteria flower in Japan whiffling in the breeze. It represents an image of the town which is affluent and of elegant ease.
