The Flag

The flag of the city of Sakaide is blue with mark.

The city emblem was adopted on Jul 1st 1942 by Notice No 2 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has a white city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized kanji 出 Ide of sakaIde. It represents an image of two seagulls vigorously flying and a soar and a development of the city with a core sea port.
