The flag of the city of Imabari is white with symbol.

The city emblem and the flag were adopted on Jan 16th 2005 by Notice No 4 and No 91. The white flag has a green, a blue and an orange three color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized i of Imabari. The green color stands for nature of Setouchi,the blue color for Kurushima Strait, Seto Inland Sea and Shimanami expressway and the orange color for a bright city in the nature.
The flag proportion is 2: 3. The diameter of the emblem is 3/5 of the height of the flag.
